• Question: we know that the heart is the most important organ, what is the second most important organ?

      That’s a really interesting question. I’m not even sure we can really say that the heart is the most important organ! There are 5 vital organs (they are called this as these organs are essential for a human beings survival): heart, brain, lung, liver and kidney. They all have really important jobs like the heart that pumps blood around the body which gets oxygen, our bodies key chemical for survival to all of our cells. The brain is our control centre that oversees everything we do. On their own though, you do not have a functional human being though, they all need to work together to make us what we are.

      Although there are 5 vital organs, many other organs have really important jobs (like the stomach for breaking down the food we eat) and if we didn’t have them we wouldn’t survive very long!

      p.s. If you want my opinion on the most important organ, i think the brain. It controls everything we do and it is the complexity of our brain that sets us apart from other animals.
