      I used to work in a shop selling all kinds of things from suitcases to mobile phones and even though I loved it and i loved meeting customers, it wasn’t what I wanted to do! Now doing this job I wouldn’t change a thing!

      I have been a nurse, a health researcher, and a university lecturer, and I love them all. When I was at school I worked as a hotel housemaid, and a waitress in a restaurant. I love biology and animals, so I might have been a vet. 🙂

      I did lots of different things to earn money when I was a teenager, including working in libraries and the local supermarket. My first proper job was in medical imaging – making the chemicals used in PET (positron emission tomography) scans, for a cancer research project. I also applied for jobs in forensic science, environmental science, making electric cars…
      I also love creating things, so working as a writer or jewellery maker would be great – but I’m better at science!
