I have an interest in disease and particularly in what changes occur to make these diseases happen. Pancreatic cancer is a very interesting disease because we have known about it for a long time but we have really struggled to find a way to treat it. I think the potential to help solve this really tough problem drew me towards working in this area.

I also hope that one day the work we are doing can help us find a cure to the disease. This is probably my biggest motivation.

When i was 4 i had heart surgery and was helped by a lot of doctors. I wanted to be like them. I also loved learning about the human body in science especially the heart. I was amazwd at how clever it was. I wasnted to keep learning more about it and i wanted to also be able to help people that had things wrong with their hearts. My job is a lot of fun and i work with som e great people! I also get to see and do a lot of cool things!
