I would maybe give a talk in assembly or class about what it’s like being a scientist and what my job is like then I would come into class to do fun science experiments to help the children know what it’s like to do science!

I would give a bit of a talk about what scientists do in their jobs and tell you about the work we are doing in looking at cancer. I think i’d most like to do some experiments with you though! I think it’s way more fun to do science than just to hear about it!

Well, first of all it would be wonderful to be invited and get to do that! Like the others I would like to tell you about my career and how I came to be doing what I now do (it was not the usual career path at all 🙂 ). I would also do some fun demonstrations and experiments to show how parts of the body work and how that is linked to when people are sick and what we do to help them. 🙂

I would teach you all abotu the heart. I would show you my computer programme that i use to decide how to treat patients. i use images of real hearts to model the blood inside it and can make some cool pictures! i would let you have a play (its like a fancy computer game!)
