A heart attack is caused when the heart doesnt get enough blood. This happens when there is a blockage in one of the arteries (tubes that take blood to the heart). When the heart doesnt have enough blood it is starved off oxygen, cannot pump properly and some parts of it can start to die if not treated quickly. The best way to treat a big heart attack is to put a small tube into the artery that is blocked and in inflate a baloon to open it.
