      Oh I was definitely nice! I was able to make friends and communicate with other children in the different year groups.

      I was shy. The only mean things I ever said were to kids who were being mean to me. Other kids used to come and sit by me if other people were unkind to them – they knew I would show them respect. I never had lots of friends, but I did have a best friend.
