Question: Would you quit your job for someone to live?

Too many unknown variables in that question. What was wrong with the person who might die? Why would quitting my job help? As a scientist we like to deal in testable and measurable variables, and there is insufficient information here for a scientist to make an informed decision upon. Having said that, as a nurse, and just a good person, I like to think I would do what I could to alleviate pain/suffering, if it was within the limits of what I could do.
